It all began when I was asked to make a short documentary with my own design and subject preference. This is what led me to create a documentary on the creative endeavors of being a habesha (Eritrean and/or Ethiopian) person in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. I went to different areas of the DMV to connect with creatives and get an in-depth look at their journeys to create.
